All Aboard the Wayne Train

Sophomore running back Wayne Gallman’s teammates gave Gallman the nickname “Wayne Train” last season, but Gallman’s numbers and productivity didn’t take off until the middle of the year. Early in 2015, Gallman has looked like a locomotive in rushing 53 times for 310 yards, an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Full Story »

Loved watching him at Louisville. Set his blocks up nicely, hit the hole quick, and ran strong through tackles. He nearly broke a couple if not for some touchdown - saving tackles by Louisville.

And one flat out trip. He had one broken open when he stumbled. I was like come on man, that would have been a huge one! Great game. The last 3-4 times they have played he has been a workhorse and it seems he is a great kid. Hope he keeps getting even better.

Is the wheel route out of the backfield a la CJ. WG doesn't have CJ's speed but it still could be effective.
