A beautiful number!

Hey, NM Tigers! My understanding is that the native American communities are getting hit hard there and in AZ. Some people are even talking (gasp!) about forcing the reservations to install indoor plumbing.

I remember visiting Taos and how picturesque the pueblos were. But I couldn't imagine people living that way all the time just to preserve a way of life.

Yeah, unfortunately there is a huge problem with alcohol and huffing paint and glue and basically anything that will get you buzzed on the West side of the state near AZ, bordering on the Navajo nation. The nation itself is dry, so people come great lengths to places like Gallup, NM to get some liquor or mouthwash or paint and they share it all. Not a good way to avoid the 'Rona. 2 counties out there account for more than half the cases and about 1/50th the population.

I was at that game. What a butt kicking. We actually left at halftime and partied on a bunch of the cockabooses. The people were very friendly and all of them offered us drinks.

Speaking of NM, I read an article

that said the "6 ft rule" was invented by a 14 year old and their dad (a computer engineer) from NM for a science project back in 2006. It was based on a hypothetical town. The Bush admin. adopted the study as part of pandemic protocol. Found that interesting.
