Today was our starting pitching that let us down.

And their 7th run doesnt cross the plate if Jolly can keep anything off the backstop. He let the man move up and he scored on the next hit.

how we ever got to number 4 in the rpi is just amazing huh. kind of amazing with all the baseball knowledge on this board that some of you are not college, better yet, major league coaches. i am imagining most in here has never even strapped on a jock before. that is an athletic suporter if jock was not high tech enough.

i was an athlete long time ago. difference is i dont get on the internet and question every decision made by a guy that actually coaches the game and makes hundreds of thousands of dollars to do it. or call 19-21 year old kids chokers. slight difference wouldnt you say.

Strange lineup today. Not sure I understand the decision in the 4th to try and steal 2nd on an 0-2 count... if you were going to send him, do it on the first pitch. But to me with 2 outs and down that many.
Anyway, it's baseball but it did appear the guys checked out today. Maybe even took them for granted. Although euby didn't do himself any favors w the wp and passed ball. Missed CW today for sure!

have lost to a lower division team. Sometimes pitchers are being saved for conference games etc.
Really, that's part of the reason I don't get too into baseball until the playoffs.
