Neinas and Dodds have been maintaining this line for months. Neinas is out in a couple weeks and really has no power. The other schools want to expand and Dodds has said he will go along with it. However, I think they will stop at 12 for a while, and see what the other conferences do.

you want ND in your conference is for the incredible money you could negotiate for a football TV contract. Letting ND join your conference in every sport but football makes absolutely no sense. That's like having a #### star for a wife, but she sleeps in the guest bedroom and you never get any. That was also a major flaw made by the BCS. These conferences need to remind ND that they haven't been relevant for 20 years and if they want to join their conference, they do so 100% with football included or no deal.

They always say they're not interested in expansion just before they do expand. It's designed to make it look like the conference isn't raiding but rather the teams came to *them*.
