I'll take a stab, but in my defense I have only been to a few.

Florida
Georgia
Clemson
Tennessee
Georgia Dome/Atlanta Falcons
USC
Carolina Panthers

Feel bad ranking my gamecocks so low, but the others have set the bar pretty high.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Your gamecocks suck and you shouldn't even be here.

No one asked for your opinion and no one wants it.

1) Clemson (Goes without saying. Goosebumps every time)
2) Florida State
3) LSU
4) Auburn
5) Florida
6) Georgia
7) Penn State
8) Virginia Tech
9) South Carolina (still hate em)
10) Kentucky (kind of a nice stadium actually)

That's my top 10: I've only been to a few stadiums outside of the SEC/ACC and Penn State was the only one I thought was cool enough to be in there.

1. Death Valley
2. Autzen Stadium/Ducks (deafeningly loud and the best student section i've seen)
3. The Swamp (deafening especially at night)
4. Tennessee (loud as hell and scenic spot....and they beat the Chickens which made it better...huge place)
5. Between the Hedges (though i DESPISE UGa they raise hell in there)
6. L. A. Coliseum (reeks of history if you can tolerate the USC band playing the Trojan March a million times)
7. Rose Bowl (beautiful area and stadium/history everywhere)
8. Bank of America Stadium/Panthers (when the Panthers have been good it rocks for an NFL stadium)
9. Oliver P. Dawson Stadium/SCSU (especially homecoming or the NC A&T or FAMU games, little place is packed and rocks, mainly because of the 101 Band and good small college football from the Bulldogs)
10. Qualcomm Stadium/Chargers (loud as hell when SD is winning)
-- also been to the Georgia Dome, Byrd Stadium in College Park, UVa's stadium, Citrus Bowl/Orlando, Jacksonville and WB in Columbia, none of which deserve to be ranked. Been to more MLB Stadiums than football.

Re: Name all the stadiums you've been to and rank them

Apr 21, 2012, 1:41 PM

Only been to GT, USC, Clemson, and BC. Had the best time at BC by far. They don't really care about football up there, but they have a nice stadium and fans.

Believe it or not, I rank GT worse than USC. I've been to the last 15 games we've played at Williams Brice and even last year it wasn't that bad. GT was far worse believe it or not. Fans were worse, stadium was worse, and the tailgating was worse.

Of course Clemson is far better than those I've visited...by a mile.

Re: Name all the stadiums you've been to and rank them

Apr 21, 2012, 2:41 PM

These are the SEC and ACC stadiums I have been to specifically in the last FIVE YEARS. This is important to note because while Clemson has ALWAYS had a tremendous atmosphere, the video board, PA audio, lack of band volume and lack of student section passion is NOT THE SAME as it once was or as good as many of the SEC schools, including scar. Several of these stadiums have completely full student sections long before kickoff. By far, a night game in Baton Rouge is the best of these.

Stadium Atmosphere
1 AL Crimson Tide 1 LSU Tigers
2 TN Volunteers 2 AL Crimson Tide
3 LSU Tigers 3 FL Gators
4 FL Gators 4 SC Gamecocks
5 UGA Bulldogs 5 Clemson Tigers
6 SC Gamecocks 6 UGA Bulldogs
7 Auburn Tigers 7 Auburn Tigers
8 Clemson Tigers 8 TN Volunteers
9 NC State 9 Miss State Bulldogs
10 KY Wildcats 10 NC State
11 GA Tech Jackets 11 GA Tech Jackets
12 NC Tarheels 12 KY Wildcats
13 Miss State Bulldogs 13 NC Tarheels
14 Vanderbilt Commodores 14 Vanderbilt Commodores
