George H.W. Bush didn't really start that one did he? Also, we didn't even have to pay for it which was nice. Trump has us in armed conflicts now though. At least he didn't start a new one. He just inherited wars. He has been great in that regard. Obama inherited wars too. The war on ISIS just spread across more than 1 border. Obama didn't start wars. He just helped clean up the Republican blunder that he was stuck with.

The uprisings all happened due the Iraq blunder. It just spread through the region subsequently. Maybe in the long term it will all be for the best, but the chaos that has ensued through so much of the region was ignited by the Iraq War.

GHWB didn't start the war there though. Saddam started the war with an invasion of Kuwait and the world unified in defense. The original post was about starting wars.
