ND offense

Dec 3, 2018, 3:03 PM

Watching their games I noticed Ian Book gets the ball knocked down at the line often and their OL doesn't handle the Blitz very well. Their WRs are a pretty big challenge and Book can def move in space he's pretty slippery and hard to sack. I think that if Clemson doesn't come out with the SCar game plan(rush 3 drop 8) Book will have a long day.

I think the SCar game plan was an overreaction to Duke having underneath WRs open most of the game the week before, throw in Tre being out and not having someone in the middle, and the communication issues they had getting lined up. Clemson is an aggressive, pin your ears back and attack defense, not a bend but don't break defense. Play Clemson ball and I think this will turn into a blood bath.

i'm impressed with their tight ends. They will be a handful.

Containing Book is going to be important. Cant let the ends rush pass him and allow him to get outside. Need to force him to stay in the pocket. At 5.11 he will get a lot of passes knocked down by our interior if they keep him in the pocket (if we dont sack him first).
