NCAA and member schools have been unable to enforce recruiting rules and extra benefit rules for long as I can remember. Now the organization and the schools will try to ensure ...... what?
Schools we all wanted to make zillions of dollars and make all the arguments for the high salaries paid throughout the department while the kids did the work.
When schools allowed athletic departments to move away from inside the university’s umbrella for financing - it began.
And about that old adage that NCAA enforcement would invoke ..... “rules help protect level playing ground.....”.

I've not read the details if the recent action, but I think they have created a new challenge for college football to be played by student athletes. it's been a struggle for years now already. This will likely be difficult to deal with.

also look for many of the big time recruits

You may be a bit optimistic about how things are already.

Yes, NCAA is about to learn. Because they have learned so much from earlier mistakes.

And the athletes already know what shade of blue they'll wear if they want the burden of class time taken off their poor overworked shoulders.
