IB4: if only there was a thread.

Acosta was wrong. He should not have hogged the floor or gotten emotional. The president was also wrong for antagonizing a member of the press and escalating the situation. I've heard a lot of "the office of the president should be shown some respect" and Acosta did not do that. However, the office of the president should act respectful as well.

The entire press conference was wrong for GIVING the mic to reporters. Every press pool I've ever seen have reporters who try to ask every single question they can possibly ask OVER whoever is talking.

They should have had the intern HOLD the mic instead of giving it. Or not have a mic at all which is how most press conferences happen.

He answered over 60 questions from over 30 different reporters. How is that not respecting the press and the rule of the free press. All this hand wringing over this is hilarious. The guy is a jerk and he got what was coming. He was disrespectful to others in the room and their time and granstanding as he always does...so now, he is gone. Bye felicia!
