My experience with LSU fans

Dec 2, 2012, 11:55 PM

I have always wanted to go to a game at LSU, so when my cousin (a coot fan) asked me if I wanted to go down with him for the SC vs LSU game earlier this season, I said yes. I wore neutral colors to the game (and white and blue striped shirt) and I still felt scared. I have never seen fans so rude in my life. While I enjoyed seeing coot fans fear for their lives, I did not enjoy the way that I was treated even in neutral colors. After that experience I decided that I hate LSU (although not nearly as much as I hate the coots). I can't wait until we will get to yell "tiger bait" all the way back to our cars after our victory on New Years Eve.

My nephew is an Alabama student and went to the Alabama vs LSU game @ LSU. He had the same experience that you did. He said the fans were horrible and rude.

I've always been amazed

Dec 3, 2012, 12:04 AM

how some teams within the same region can have such radically different fan bases. I expect a lot of the northern schools to be rude but a lot of the southern schools seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum. I had a great time with A&M fans and Auburn fans this year. Georgia fans are nothing but trash and I'm immediately getting the same feeling about LSU.

I have to agree with you about the Georgia fans. I won't use the word trash since I have friends & family that are UGA fans, but I will say they are rude as heck. They expect alot and get really pissed when they don't get it. Moreso than other fanbases.

Some friends of ours went to a game there and

were sitting in front of a boy scout troop attending the game together. The kids were about 9-10 and every other word profane. One of the scout leaders was fall down drunk and was kicked out of the game.

They said they had never been to any game with fans even close, including Georgia.

The scout leader seems like a great role model.***

"I decided that I hate LSU"

You decided you hate LSU because their fans gave you a hard time?

You sound like a ghey.

LMAO. This story is so tame. We actually try pretty hard to be nice to the Gumps. It makes us sound down right genteel. You'll havent seen anything yet. Wait till you see the Tiger Nation celebrate on New Years Eve. Night bowl games are incredible. le bon temps roule
You Taters better lock up the women and children. If I were you Taters I'd sell my tickets and stay home.

am going to be in your face everywhere you look on New Year's Eve. You are going to be seeing orange in your sleep next year. Clemson fans are like Be Be's kids! We don't die we multiply! You will wish you had stayed home eating possum if you come to Atlanta!
