relive the awesomeness of that 45-0 beat down we put upon the chickens, a bit of nostalgia for old school Tiger fans, and 30 years later we return to Columbia with a chance to whoop their a$$ one more time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rxPsOeSEwY

“And here somebody going to knock somebody’s head off” - Coach Ford at the 5:50 mark
Thanks for the memories, Coach Ford will always have a place at Clemson.

NCAA screwed over Coach Ford & Clemson, putting us on probation for any excuse they could find, total travesty, hurt the program quite a bit, many programs go away with way worse

It was over minor infractions & drew just a "wrist slap" from the NCAA.

But it was all the pretext that President Max Lennon needed to make his move against CDF. He had regarded Ford as insubordinate ever since he went public in the dispute over constructing a learning center for athletes (Vickery Hall) versus a new athletic dorm.

My brother, the coot, and I were at that game.

I enjoyed every single second of it. My older brother...not so much. He, in typical coot fashion, left at halftime.

I can only imagine getting shut out at home, I wonder when the last time Clemson was shut out at home? That had to suck for your brother

Stan Olenik and Danny Ford are 2 big dudes. Olenik was probably one of the better 6 o'clock sports guys around.

My Dad and I had a great time. My brother, the coot, tried to pick a fight. I am not proud of him.

Thanks for the memories. In 1989 I’d been married 5 years with a 1 year old son living in Atlanta.
1. Great seeing Danny squatting down picked at the grass. 2. Coots still leave early. 3. He were playing our backup early even back then. 4. We could have hung 100 on them if we wanted too. 5. UofSC was really bad back then. I guess something never change.
Go Tigers!!!
