Muscoot accusing us of injuring his players with

Nov 25, 2018, 4:49 PM

dirty play(cut blocks). Asked about how much the injuries affected his team’s game plan, Muschamp snapped, “What do you think? That’s a dumb question” before quickly apologizing for losing his temper.

Fennell suffered what Muschamp believes in an ACL tear on what Muschamp said was a cut block by the Tigers. Defensive lineman Keir Thomas was also unable to finish the game due to injury.

What a sore loser!

Can someone point this man in the direction of Auburn who also uses cut blocks! The NCAA has been tougher on them so they are looking hard at illegal blocks. Funny how they didn't call any!

This article is very misleading. The majority of the injured

players referenced were hurt before the game yesterday. It made it sound like they were all hurt by Clemson.

It totally disregards the times coot players were told to play dead from the sideline when we had the ball.

Listen to his post game comments. He referring to Ole Miss using cut blocks. At no point did he imply we played dirty.

I know you may not believe this, but the article is WRONG. Listen to the post game interview for yourself.
The writer misquoted their Coach, maybe on purpose maybe not.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Correct. I listened to that post-game interview... Article

SC's injury problems don't stem from cut blocks or anything having to do with their opponents. They need a competent strength and conditioning coach. Watch any of their games and compare how many injuries or injury times out SC needs compared to their opponent.

Didn't Fennell get hurt on a non-contact play chasing Trevor?

^^ I think you're right, as his knee buckled as he attempted to chase Trevor. Nobody touched him.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I say the SEC refs blatant refusal to call holding kept the game within 21.

You are leaving out Clemson's strength coach starting Josh Belk on his baked potatoes and nacho cheese Doritos diet. Due to this poor diet, Belk was not in condition to play on Saturday. Another underhanded and disrespectful tactic! You are right, so right Muscoot!

what kind of an athletic losers can't handle a cut block?

Nov 25, 2018, 11:41 PM

We used to practice it in high school. It's not dangerous at all.

Other than one of their players, I'm not sure that any of those that went down actually were hurt. They did flop a lot to slow down drives when they were gassed though.

First, an ACL tear cannot be diagnosed accurately until the internal swelling has subsided. That may take 2-4 days. Swelling can be caused by damage to the MCL alone, which would create shadows on any MRI.

Second, i don't know how you can call a block"illegal", and then turn around and say that the NCAA should make it illegal in the interest of player safety. Yeah, i know he is complaining that it is legal in certain situations, but the refs didn't find it to be 'illegal'.
