No real hot take here but I don't blame FSU one single bit for their actions this weekend. Pros/Cons to their decision:

Cons
*Get called pewsies by opposing fans and media
*Dabo ain't letting up next time they play. Coaches kids may not even dress for that one.

Pros
*Avoided a beating. Let's face it, a beating was in order. FSU down to 2 QBs to boot.
*No real consequence to this. Already a lame duck year. Forfeit? Hmmm, ok. That's better than the actual assstomping they would have gotten.
*Tigers din't get to show the gap in class between the programs on the field.
*They had some PR issues around Covid. I think some players a while back were bitching about protocols. Now, it's all couched under PLAYER SAFETY.
*Lol, they ain't paying shid for our travel expenses. Even if, $300k is a rounding error for both schools.
*Everyone got the weekend off!

Chickenshat? Poontangs? Yep, all of that. I'm telling you right here and now though that they made a good, while unpopular to us, decision to not play. The media backlash will pass pretty soon on this.

Something about Kenny Rogers and knowing when to walk away, and when to run.

Coach says, hey wait a minute, we can move game and have a real qb - let's do it. Cannot wait for the real story to come out....someday.

Qbs Was also just coming off a concussion.

I don’t expect to hear another peep out of FSU beyond what they’ve already said.

Word around that camp has to be hush and let this pass
