Joe was a personal friend and colleague of mine and I consider your referring to him as "ancient daddy" extremely offensive, tasteless, very juvenile and a totally uncalled for cheap shot at a legend all who count in the world of sports greatly admire. Jay is another story.

Joe also turned a blind eye to perhaps the most ignominious episode in all of sports. That is undeniable.
All the people in sports who matter? Sorry, don't buy that either.
Does ignoring what was going on offset the mountain of great things that he did and the wonderful person he was? I am afraid so.

You simply do not have your facts straight. If you knew ALL of the facts and were aware off ALL the testimony you might know not to draw YOUR own biased conclusions. If you knew anything about institutional protocol you would be aware of what was and what was not followed at Penn State. As a former college trustee I would suggest obtain ALL the facts before making false accusations. End of conversation.

he knew what was going on- and did nothing. guilty by association and he looked the other way. those kids needed him and he turned a blind eye. he's a sorry excuse for a human being, if you ask me.
