He was honest, he got our graduation rate up and he reminded us of Danny but for the life of me I can't remember why.

This actually was somewhat of an accomplishment. While programs were gaining success with opening up the offense, West was still trying to win by grinding out on the ground. Virtually no offensive imagination in a system that was outdated and he still managed to not completely suck until the last year. They were hard to watch even when they won.

I met him one time and he started recruiting me to play football. Unfortunately I had already graduated............ From Clemson. Made my day though.
