Most overrated QB in NFL today

Dec 17, 2017, 10:13 AM

I’m going with Aaron Rodgers

Dec 17, 2017, 10:19 AM

I would say Cam. Rodgers is amazing how is he overrated?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Most overrated QB in NFL today

Dec 17, 2017, 12:16 PM

It’s not that he isn’t great. He is. It is that people put him better than Brady and one of the top QBs of all time. Guy chokes in the playoffs. Great yes but not an all time great

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Most overrated QB in NFL today

Dec 17, 2017, 2:43 PM

Choked all the way to a super bowl. Who is better besides Brady? I am no Rodgers fan but dude is good.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Who rates him higher than Brady?

Dec 17, 2017, 3:13 PM [ in reply to Re: Most overrated QB in NFL today ]

I've personally never heard or read that.

I would agree. Probably the most wrong I've seen in days

Dec 17, 2017, 12:57 PM

..,and that is saying something.

Wrong about what?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Rogers? Umm, no!

Dec 17, 2017, 10:23 AM

He is a top 5 QB easily. I am not even close to a GB fan, and think Rogers is a jerk to be honest, but he is still a heck of a QB.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It pains me to say it...

Dec 17, 2017, 10:29 AM

but Ben Roethlisberger. He has become so locked on Antonio Brown that he is not looking at anyone else and it is damaging the Steeler's passing game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: It pains me to say it...

Dec 17, 2017, 10:31 AM

Yep they are only tied for first in the AFC.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yep, but I think..

Dec 17, 2017, 12:20 PM

that is more reflective of a favorable schedule(woeful Browns, Bengals, and Colts) and sheer luck(Flacco-less Ravens first time, Luck-less Colts, and Rodgers-less Packers) than great play.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Yep, but I think..

Dec 17, 2017, 2:44 PM

Lmao yep you are right. Winning 8 straight NFL games is lucky.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Big Ben has the 30th ranked QB rating in the league.

Dec 17, 2017, 3:17 PM

I don't watch the NFL, but just based on that number I wouldn't say Ben is the primary reason the Steelers have won 8 in a row. Am I missing something? I have dog in this fight, just curious.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: It pains me to say it...

Dec 17, 2017, 10:32 AM [ in reply to It pains me to say it... ]

I think you spelled it wrong, it's Rapeslisberger.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Got it wrong...

Dec 17, 2017, 10:34 AM

Trubinsky with the Bears. Good high school wb, but that is all.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

man you're tough. he literally just threw for over 500 yds

Dec 17, 2017, 11:04 AM [ in reply to It pains me to say it... ]

2 games ago. becoming the only qb to ever do it three times. I'm a giants fan.

Re: man you're tough. he literally just threw for over 500 yds

Dec 17, 2017, 12:10 PM

Yes, but even in that Ravens game 12 of their 39 points were from 4 field goals. Every game Brown is getting pinball receiving numbers and no one else is even getting close. It cost them a game against the Bears, 5 interceptions against the Jaguar's talented secondary, and almost cost them the Bengals'and Colts' games. Good defenses know, first option, Bell run, second option, Brown pass, third option Bell pass. Sadly, he is one of my favorite quarterbacks, but he needs to diversify this offense to go further.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: man you're tough. he literally just threw for over 500 yds

Dec 17, 2017, 1:07 PM

You don't throw for over 500 yards by using only one guy.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Right...

Dec 17, 2017, 2:38 PM

Antonio Brown got 17 targets, two TE's 18, other two wide receivers 15, and two RB's 12.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He has regressed, but the Steelers have so many weapons...

Dec 17, 2017, 12:51 PM [ in reply to It pains me to say it... ]

it covers up his regression.

That's a weird way to spell Philip Rivers

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Re: Most overrated QB in NFL today

Dec 17, 2017, 11:49 AM

agree. Guy has never won anything. How about him throwing jump balls into double coverage last night and then whining (which he IS skilled at ) to his receivers ? Cutler also comes to mind

If you're limiting it to just today. Hard not to say Rodgers.

Hard to be overrated when you are, at worst, the 2nd

best QB in the league.

There isn't enough quality QB play...

Dec 17, 2017, 12:50 PM

in the NFL, to have any overrated QB's. The NFL does a terrible job of evaluating and developing the QB position.

Re: Cam is the most overrated pro-athlete Period*

Dec 17, 2017, 1:36 PM [ in reply to Cam is the most overrated pro-athlete Period* ]

How is Cam overrated? Nobody tries to say he's as good as Rodgers, Brady, Brees, etc... so it's not as if anyone is trying to rate him as one of the top quarterbacks in the league or anything. Just who do people try and say he's better than that you feel he isn't?

Scam maybe?***
