Most Clemson Fans

love Football, Basketball, and Baseball. I know the other
sports are important but how many fans watch Lacrosse?
I for one haven't a clue but evidently the ACCN thinks
that there is a big demand because they show it constantly.

and I would love for Clemson to have a team. The ACC is a great lacrosse conference, so it would be a natural fit. Plus, we already have Riggs Field, which is perfect for lacrosse.

I love watching lacrosse! My son played in high school. The rules are hard to learn, but once you do, it is a great game.

I've been wanting Clemson to have a lacrosse program as much as a softball program.
I would have definitely gotten lacrosse over rowing.
The athletic department could have have money in terms of not having to build another facility because we could have probably used Riggs Field.
Lacrosse would also have gotten more attention.
And as someone pointed out, there are a lot of national championship-caliber programs in the ACC.
I believe recruiting would have been easier than rowing and volleyball.
So yes, lacrosse is popular in many ACC school.
I bet it would be popular at Clemson too.

Yes, I think lacrosse would do well at Clemson. I used to go watch it while at UNC. Never had a clue what I was watching but it was fun. Kind of like soccer but you get to beat the crap out of the other guy with a stick.
