Lies, Trump lies constantly and consistently, and his supporters don't care. As long as he makes 'liberals cry', they seem good with that.

We had very little in our stockpile.” That was Trump’s attempt, frequently repeated by the president and recycled in White House presentations, to lay responsibility for the inept pandemic response at Obama’s feet, as if three years in office were insufficient for Trump to repair all the supposed damage his predecessor wrought.

Dang it, they went to the trouble of examining all of Trump's official budget requests over 3 years. I hate it when that happens.

The stock market is not the economy. 30 million Americans are out of work, corporate profits have crumbled. Only Wall St is making money. They are betting on the recovery, and if this bubble bursts, so do everyone's 401k.

China hid the fact that the virus is so highly contagious long enough to suck up every piece of PPE on the planet which left the world at the mercy of China's communist government.
Everyone made mistakes. Trump didn't lockdown travel from EU when he ended travel from China, cuomo and governors from other states ordered covid patients to be returned to nursing homes and the people who produced the first projections of the spread of this virus scared the living daylights out of our entire nation.
Imo, anyone blaming America or any Americans for this has a moral deficiency. This isn't pubs vs dems, you vs me or white vs black, this is 'We The People,' vs the communist Chinese government.

The Chinese Govt. told us this was human to human transmission Jan 24th, it had already posted the Genetic Map of the Virus on Jan 12, so anyone could download it all over the world.
On Jan. 24 China 1,300 cases in China, 41 deaths and it had spread to the whole Asian Pacific region, Pakistan, Nepal, Malaysia, Australia and France. China in the meantime built 4 hospitals that housed 1000 people in 10 days. It was a massive project.
Trumps on Intelligence service began warning him as early as December.
This "Blame it on China" is just Trump's strategy to deflect accountability.
He knew, and he blew it off. It wasn't until March that he publically declared this a problem.
He finally reacted on March 16.
The whole "I banned China" was a lie too. The airlines did. Delta and American announced they were closing off routes at the end of February. United called the WH and told them they were going to announce as well but would hold off if Trump wanted to make a statement. He did, thereby claiming he 'shut down' travel from China. What he didn't tell us that the 'ban' only covered "FOREIGN NATIONALS who had been to China in the past 14 days." Forty thousand people flowed back into the U.S. from China for weeks after the ban was in place. None of them were quarantined.
