His run defense lost both starting DE’s, one starting DT, starting MLB, starting SF. The other starting safety was replaced with a freshman. They lost 5 of their top 6 tacklers from last year. Until we see their run defense this year, we don’t know what they have....and neither do they.
On the O they lost their RB (who had the greatest RB season in T A&M history) their fullback, and their #1 & #2 TE and their LG.

he’s one of the top assistants in the country and will likely be a HC next year. We’re lucky to have him and it’s amazing what he’s done for our D in such a short time.

He has had good numbers, especially in 2016 with Wake Forest. But most of his statistical categories except for a few, don't even rank in the top ten over the years. I agree that his resume is good enough to get a coaching job at any school, but we have played in 3 championship games and one semi against a top 5 SEC defense. This won't be the Tigers 1st foray against a top defense.

no doubt. Ags are not going to stifle your O or shut you down by any means. I dont think any sane Ag believes that. We do though believ we have a good enough D to come out with a win. this wont be a shootout - by either team.
