Friday was a great day for Clemson.

Friday gave us the news that Bill Wilhelm and Danny Ford were going to be inducted into the Clemson Ring of Honor.

I got to know coach Bill while a football manager. He was a true class act.
Coach Howard had the same ability as coach Ford. His cornpone talk was an act. He went to Alabama on an acidemic scholarship and was an English major. If you liked coach Ford's practices you would have loved them in the 60's. The biggest hinderance to Coach Howard was the acc rule that athletes had to make higer on the SAT than the student body.
