Your mention of Yannity's call spurred me to a small rant. Man do I miss Jim Phillips!! Pete is probably a decent guy but he's no play by play guy. He doesn't have the "pipes" and it seems he's more interested in getting in those "catch phrases" than working on his technique. What I wouldn't give to have someone on the mike that makes me want to turn down the volume on the TV and turn up the radio. Just sayn...

majority. Pete does a fine job, and we are lucky to have him. He works with news 7 as well. Give the guy a break. He is always on the go. Jim was the best here, don't get me wrong, but Yannity reps us well, and is a professional. I knew Jim personally. Great guy. But Pete is great, too. It just so happens that he is following a legend. Kind of a Steve Young to Joe Montana.
