Medical emergency outside of DKS

Near the end of the game today, we were at the outfield exit gate when a gentleman collapsed. He appeared to be by himself and stadium personnel were there immediately. EMS arrived shortly after and, when we left the area, they were still doing chest compressions. Things did not look good at all. I don't know who he was but ask for your prayers for this man and his family. Thank you.

I just wanted to give an update to this thread. My Dad was the gentleman who passed away at the end of the Wright State game last a Sunday. He was a retired Clemson professor who, until very recently, had attended almost every home game since moving to Clemson in 1961. He was known on Tigernet as FortHillTiger.
Today a package arrived in the mail from Clemson. It was a batting helmet signed by Coach Monte Lee and the entire baseball team. I have no words to express what this means to me and my family. Thanks Coach Lee and Tiger Baseball!!

Must be. It's a true sign of devotion to his and your families Tigers and I can't imagine how proud you must be of your dad.

Your dad was my Spanish professor at Clemson. After I moved back to Clemson about 25 years ago, I would always see him at baseball games. Prayers on your loss.
