Ban me because you used a description to describe how ineffective using "5 straight wins over Clemson was a stupid recruiting tool" but you were the victim in those losses and it is suppose to not effect you guys. Get real dude. That is obviously NOT a good tool for either school....but it looks worse on you guys than us. If that's a reason to ban someone then....I guess they will ban me. I would hope this board is above that. Opinions that are not agreed upon happen everyday in real life.

Finishing in the Top 10 three years in a row, is a major selling point with one of them in the top 5. Some schools haven't finished in the top 5 since Dallas and The Love Boat were hit shows.

So finishing in the top ten, then the top 5 with no BCS

Rankings are what matters. It's what writer/coaches from around the country think about you. When WVU beat Clemson in the Orange Bowl, neither team was ranked in the top 20. Heck Northern Illinois played in it last year.

Yeah...cause I remember lots of teams that didn't win

The writers and coaches sure remember Carolina. It's very hard to finish in the top 5. Ask Hatfield, West, Bowden and Dabo...over 30 years.

Similar to the NCAA Bball tourney. The coaches/writers care more about who you beat rather than who you lost to. Going into Clemson's bowl they beat UGA, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly...you get the point

No conference championships, no BCS bowls…..

[3]
Posted: Feb 10, 2014 12:17 AM

do that first, and then talk some. Your team only has two accomplishments over the past 5 seasons, one win over Bama and beating us 5 years in a row. Even at your programs highest moment, the biggest accomplishment you can achieve is just a win over us. We will always be your national title game. You will always want to be us. You wish your coot women looked as good as Clemson women. You will always obsess over us. You will always be on this board seeking validation.

By the way outside of the $EC tards, nobody in the country buys into the polls. This bowl season proved the $EC is no better than any of the other BCS conferences. You $EC tards can keep living in your fantasy world, but the $EC "dominance" is a fraud and it's over.

Re: Yep, and that's the point of this thread. Let me ask you

Posted: Feb 9, 2014 7:33 PM

Keep in mind, not all the best teams play in the BCS. WVU, No Illinois, Clem, Pitt, UCF...the Orange Bowl isn't what it used to be. Only once in the history of the bowl, neither team finished in the top 20 (WVU,CU). I'll take a top 5 finish.

My point is, you could recall who (N. Illinois) played in

[3]
Posted: Feb 9, 2014 7:36 PM

the OB...but you can't tell me without Google who finished 4th. That's my point. I don't believe your team is strong enough to have the seasons you've had in years past...that's why, I'm pretty sure that 4th ranked finish isn't going to mean much at all...

Re: My point is, you could recall who (N. Illinois) played in

Posted: Feb 9, 2014 7:42 PM

So rankings don't matter? I could tell you who won the Gator Bowl and the Pinstripe Bowl last year. So what? It's what people around the country think about you. Dan Patrick called Carolina an elite program. Not Mike Hogwood, but Dan Patrick.

It looks like you know who finished fourth this year

Posted: Feb 9, 2014 7:44 PM

I understand why you're trying to take a moral victory.

But we both know you would rather be top four then win the orange bowl.

really think we would be in the mix for the playoffs? Of course. Besides, like I said, you may lose 3-4 games this coming season (as most of your fanbase believes as well, no homerism)...do you think you'll still be 4th? Doubt it...
