Me vs Trevor Lawrence.....

Earlier this season I posted a challenge to Trevor Lawrence.

The challenge was a race to 4,000.

I attempted to get 4,000 TUs before he could get 4,000 passing yards.

Well, there was something I didn't think through.

I beat him to 4,000 this season, but it's really a career stat for me vs his season stats. I don't want to be unfair.

As many of you know, Trevor reached 4,000 passing yards for his career earlier this season. He currently sits at 4,814 yards. In terms of total career yards, he rests at 5,166.

However, this season he is at 1,534 passing yards and 1,721 total yards.

What I fear is that I have put undue pressure on Trevor because of my head start, causing some of his slow start to the season.

Due to the unclear nature of the challenge, I have spoken with Trevor this week (we tmail frequently but I can't tell you his TNET name) to make things right.

Well folks, I am hear to tell you that Trevor was relieved.

I am hoping now that we have both passed this milestone, with him as the victor and me taking Bama's place on the podium, he can really loosen up and start to perform how we all know he can.

Go Tigers! I can't wait to see Trevor start to light it up!



Interesting note: Trevor has 2 receptions for -12 yards over his career, both deflected balls, which is why his total yardage does not match the sum of his passing and rushing totals.
