McShay's QB draft grades since 2016

I found this article surprising as Deshaun was graded as an 88 by McShay at the time of the draft behind:

Sam Darnold (94)
Carson Wentz (91)
Jared Goff (91)
Josh Rosen (91)
Josh Allen (91)
Kyler Murray (90)*
Dwayne Haskins (90)*
Baker Mayfield (90)
Drew Lock (89)*
Mitchell Trubisky (89)

I think it's safe to say he was off on his grade of DW...I think he's better than everyone on that list with (maybe) the exception of Goff and Wentz.

The jury is still out on most of these guys obviously, but I'd take Watson over any of them.

The only reason I think Watson got dinged in his grading was the turnovers... he played closer to the edge for some of his throws. Won more than not but I could see why the "NFL grader" was worried.

I think the only folks to compare against are peers in the same draft class.

Scoring is just used to stack rank within the class imho. He was way off on Mahomes.

I couldn't believe that Trubiski was ranked ahead of Mahomes and Watson. Made no sense except for the fact that he "looked" like an NFL QB
