Newman for Wake is having a great year. His stats prove it. Obviously Trevor is a lot better NFL QB prospect, but I could Newman winning ACC Player of the year and/or being QB on All ACC First Team.

No he did not. He said he has potential to be as good as TL. He also said TL was the clear number one draft pick but Newman will also be a high draft pick because of his skill set and how the game has changed.
You people are so obsessed with hating espn that you just make stuff up, then other tnetters believe the crap that’s made up, and the espn obsessing gets even worse. Half the crap that’s said about espn on this site is 100% bull$hit.

That is not the same as saying he’s as good as Trevor.
As far as production this year, he is right up there with TL, if not better. He has been a very productive qb this year, he was 10th in the nation in passing before today started and has missed a game and a half.
That’s why McElroy clearly said he has potential to be as good as TL, which would tell anyone who’s listening that he thinks TL is a better qb, and the fact that he said TL was the clear #1 draft pick.

And if you think that Clemson is not causing major heartburn to ESPN then you aren’t listening.
They want SEC, B10G teams in the playoffs and are praying that we have a loss to eliminate us.
They have pretty much eliminated TL from Heisman discussion because of a few inconsequential INT’s.
They are invested in the SEC and hype it at every opportunity.

Good lord, this is the stuff that really cracks me up.
Let me ask you something. Why? Why do they only want SEC or B1G teams to win? Why are they invested in the SEC in every opportunity? Why does Clemson cause them major heartburn? This should be very interesting.
And Trevor was eliminated from the heisman race because of his production compared to the other candidates, not because of ints. DW4 had 17 ints and came in second in the heisman voting.
