Yeah. My concern is that they stack the box like UNCheat did and we go way too conservative offensively. Granted, we couldn’t get out of our own way that day with dumb penalties.

warrant anyone feeling differently? Legit question.
Because I see a team in U5uC who sux bad from top to bottom. Their star freshman qb is no star...perhaps yet can be added to that. But they'd be better off if Bentley were playing. Their running game is mediocre at best. They have one good defensive back for whom I can't recall his name atm. No fan should be concerned about the dominance our Clemson Tigers are about to lay upon the South Carolina GameCocks.

We are fans and "have the luxury" of talking smack! Believe it or not there are delusional Gamecock fans who think they will win tomorrow b/c they have an SEC patch on their jersey.
The Team - will show up to play and I believe they will play well. I would be more worried honestly if it were at home and we were huge favorites. Road games then to galvanize the team(circle the wagons if you will). Not worried about overlooking the Gamecocks at all. Especially the defense because of the way the coots moved the ball last year!

With a better offense that could keep their defense off the field, they may be able to hold their own for a little while. But ultimately we have better players at every position and it will be just a matter of time before we start steamrolling them.

If we have any early success in this game - it won't be close. Their only shot is if we come out super slow/lethargic. They will maybe be fired up - but I have seen that work against teams too. They run out of gas or get out of position and inevitably get exposed because of it.
