the grocery store for a few items (not named toilet paper,) and two ladies were ahead of me in an aisle.
The pollen gets me this time of year, and I happened to sneeze once...loudly. The two turned, looked like they had been shot and literally ran off with their carts. Another fellow in the same aisle and I roared in laughter. He said, "The whole dammmm country's gonna be afraid of their own shadows when this mess is over!"

It’s getting me too. Had the same issue in a grocery store except I occasionally have sneezing “attacks”. Got the aisle all to myself and quite a few horrified looks. Again, TP in short supply because every time someone sneezes 100 people soil themselves.

I have to work outside on the farm and my eyes feel like they have sand paper in them after about 5 minutes. I don't remember it being this bad or maybe I'm just getting older with less tolerance.

Nope. On a scale of 1 to 10, pollen is rated an "11" now.
Unseasonably warm weather, insane amount of rainfall. You are not imagining stuff.

Add Augusta, GA to that list. I am having sneezing fits and my eyes have never been so watery. They are itching so bad that nothing offers relief. Even a heavy rain last week didn't clear the air.
