I watched that game and saw that Bentley is the only one on that team that still believes in that coaching staff. Everyone else gave up, wide outs gave up on routes and never came back to him to help out,and even though the running game worked the coaches didn’t run. Bentley isn’t the problem.

How would Bentley respond knowing that Clemson fans are the only ones that are defending him Nd know he’s the only player that cares?? Freaking sad. He’s taken a beaten, for 3 years. Give the guy a break. He’s trying to elevate one of the worst college Football programs in history. .. you know what you are! Cut the kid some slack! Unfortunately we have. I hate to be the one to post it but in the past some of our fans have stooped that low. It’s been a while but it has happened. In fact I was say it has occurred at every program. When TB was out HC a T-Netter wanted to meet me somewhere so he could give me a butt whipping ( at least he wanted to try).
Sometimes we Adults forget it’s just a Game. It is not like some of our fans who are fighting bigger battles with cancer, Parkinson’s, heart trouble, financial crisis and unfortunately death as with CJ Fuller’s Family today.
I do not want fans to think I am preaching a sermon to anyone. I am talking about all of us. I have made statements, quotes and post I am ashamed of and wish I had never said them. I think We all have. Competition can bring out the best in us and it can bring out the worst in coaches, players and fans.
Even if we lost every game I will always be proud to be part of the Clemson Family.

I am a diehard Clemson fan but I would never ever trash one of our players like the coots are doing to Jake Bentley and the way thane have thrown other former players under the bus. If those coot nut jobs had any football knowledge they would realize that you have to have talent to win, which they don’t have. Most important they should act like adults.
Is it Jake Bentley’s fault that their defense is average, and against quality teams they have little to no offense, their coaching sucks etc... I could write pages of why the coots will always be an average program.
I am not a JB fan but these idiotic coot fans need to realize that Jake is just a kid trying to do the best he can with the resources he has been given by those same coots throwing him under the bus.
Jake Bentley’s biggest problem is his Big Mouth. If Jake maybe had toned it down a little it’s possible, the coot fans would not be throwing him under the bus now. Then you add the bonehead media who made their 9 win season in the coots minds almost like a NC season. And kept comparing Bentley to great NFL QB’s and saying he should still be in high school the fans may cut him some slack now.

SC players and coaches have always sold the coot fans with OVER EXPECTATIONS and DELUSIONAL unrealistic accomplishments.
