No way a 1-loss ND helps us

Just like a double-overtime loss was better for us than a regulation loss. If our diminished team took two overtime periods to finally lose and our full-strength team can beat them in the ACCCG, the optics are wonderful for both teams. Similar situation put UGA and Bama into the playoff a few years back. Plus, us having played each other would likely keep them from matching us up in the first round.

So, my selfish take is to let them keep winning and hopefully we can knock them off in ACCCG and both will get in and the ACC can take half of the championship money.

If the ACC gets two teams in the CFP that means more money for the ACC which means more money for Clemson.

You know how that works..they would never let two one
loss ACC teams in the CFP. There may be an undefeated
Cincy Team or even or two one loss sec teams if Fla
beats bama in the seccg.
