Loss was on the coaches....

Nov 8, 2020, 8:41 AM

We had the ability to ice the clock and didn’t try for a first down.

Then on defense we go away from the blitz packages that were making Book make quick decisions and let him have all day for a long bomb.

Those two calls lost it.

The ACC Championship will be a blowout if we get the team 100% and clean up these boneheaded coaching mistakes.

Yep,,,, We couldn't run the ball well but, we call two running plays, lose yards, and burn six or eight seconds off the clock... clock management was pretty bad.. Needed at least one first down.

Please, brother, let’s don’t start that “ blowout” crap.

These scoop n scores killed us yesterday and nearly did so against BC

And lets not forget the player mistakes too...

Nov 8, 2020, 9:07 AM

like when ETN gave the ball to ND and they got a free &, or when Rodggers fumbled a first down catch and gave them 3 or when ETN goes out of bounds on 3rd down, or when Venables missed a key tackle...or when Charleston in OT has a late hit on a play that would made it very diffciult for them to score...but hey lets blame the coaches for everything...

those ########....they better fix this quick or changes have to be made....1 regular season loss to a top 5 team on the road is unacceptable...this can only happen every 10 years...not every 4.

can't talk logic to these morons, they want to fire coaches***

Coaches didn’t fumble it twice. That was the difference. They had some great play calls, some not so great, but the players played a role in that too.

I blame the loss on coaching 1000%. The end of the 4th quarter was some of the worst coaching I ever seen. Make ND use their timeouts when we was on offense. With an injured Defense you play coverage and keep everything in front and protect the boundaries. The clock is your friend. Who cares if you give up 10 yards here and there. Overtop coverage at all times. Bad Bad Coaching!!!!

i see people bringing up the fumbles

but those were irrelevant..we were up 7 with 2-30 to play..an coaches didnt even try to get a first down..you are correct its on the coaches.
