They didn’t play well for sure. My biggest concern is, we didn’t get consistent pressure on JB. We have elite pass rushers and he was able to throw downfield all night. It was just a bad night for our D. I still think it will come down to Clemson/Bama in the end. The difference is the D we played last night was like playing Louisville again. Bama won’t be that way. Our D will have to get several stops for us to have a chance.

We need to be ready for Pitt first. I am not looking forward to that shovel pass or their TE play. This isn't a gimmie game. We are gonna get their best shot.

You need to remember that the Gamecocks and NOTHING TO LOOSE and EVERYTHING to gain by beating us. I knew going in that JB would be THROWING everything they had in the playbook at the defense because they knew running wasn't happening. I'm sure the coaches knew this. It would be all but impossible to stop every pass play every down. Yeah, they were a half-step out of sync more than once, but look what the defense did twice inside the 5 yard line. When JB had a real short field and tight coverage, he couldn't do anything. Give a decent QB some protection and receiver 50 yards of turf to run around passes will be caught. These glitches will be corrected this week. Onward to Charlotte and the playoffs.

and they used the time to implement some things we hadn't seen on film.

Lamar not being able to go was problem as well.

The D definitely didn't have its best day yet Clemson still won by three TD's

I good with it.
