Selling/Giving Coot Fans tickets to Death Valley...

Nov 25, 2014, 12:34 PM

Shame on you if you are guilty of this. Why not sell your tickets to deserving Clemson fans? I would eat mine rather than let a coot sit in them!

Drives me nuts that people do that when there are plenty of Clemson fans looking for tickets. I hate being surrounded by coots in my section.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

About 40% of the crowd will be coots this weekend.

Nov 25, 2014, 12:37 PM

Disgusting !

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No way I've never seen that many in DV!!!!

Nov 25, 2014, 12:40 PM

That would be over 32K....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

There are a bunch incognito.***

Nov 25, 2014, 12:40 PM

You can spot them when the coots make a good play. They clap and have a hard time containing themselves.

I know. How do we manage to fill our stadium with at least 80-90% Clemson fans for every other game but this one?

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Uh no...that never has and never will happen***

Yeah 40% is a bit much but the visiting team probably

Nov 25, 2014, 1:15 PM

brings 20,000 fans to this game every year.

Somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000....

Nov 25, 2014, 1:49 PM

which is 18% to 24% but certainly not 40%

NO WAY

Nov 25, 2014, 1:22 PM [ in reply to About 40% of the crowd will be coots this weekend. ]

I've been to every one at Clemson for over 40 years....it won't even be close to 40%.

Still, it makes me mad that some give/sell tickets to dirtpeckers.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

NEVER give or sell extra tickets to $CU fans

Nov 25, 2014, 12:39 PM

I completely agree...I'd rather eat mine than sell them to a Coot.

Longtime season ticket holders all around me do this

Nov 25, 2014, 12:53 PM

It disgusts me. I don't enjoy going to this game anymore, and a large part of the reason why is that I know when I get to my seat, there will be a huge number of SCar fans around me. It makes me want to punch them AND the ticketholders who sold them the seats.

ill be there an annoying as ever thanks to that clemson season ticket holder who sold me his lower level tickets.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I openly cuss the season ticket holders at the next game I

Nov 25, 2014, 1:13 PM [ in reply to Longtime season ticket holders all around me do this ]

see them for doing that in my section, and I do it loud enough for the people sitting around us to hear...I usually get congratulated by the surrounding fans for doing so because they don't want to sit next to coots either

Re: Selling/Giving Coot Fans tickets to Death Valley...

I've heard of IPTAY sending people around to the lots, looking at cars and I sincerely hope they do also do this. That's the best way to stop this trash - find a maroon gaycock car in a season ticket holder's spot, next year your lot will be in Seneca.

Re: Selling/Giving Coot Fans tickets to Death Valley...

Playing Devil's advocate here. But mostly common sense speaks volumes on this issue. If I pay $75 face value ticket then turn around at game time and can see that said ticket can be sold for $200+ well then there is everyone's answer right there. It's a first come first served deal going on for people who sell their tickets and quite frankly they are not concerned with how you feel about being surrounded by Clemson fans or chicken fans. They now have that extra money for the holidays or whatever other reason. Sorry but it's the truth and y'all already knew it before this post.

I bought mine off craiglist, the guy didn't care if it was Clemson or scar fans but he was a Clemson season ticket holder. But at least I got them first.

Maybe if we were better with $$$ we wouldn't have to sell them to coots.
