Quite a stretch in your analogy there. This type of fan will be the first to jump off the bandwagon as soon as we face some adversity. I will say this however, if he is young, then maybe it will work.
But if he is some 40 year old dude who switches his allegiance from Gamecocks to Tigers, that is just weird. The only thing I respect about coot fans is they are oddly loyal when they get so little in return.
