Likely 2020 Class Size

The following are either out of eligibility or very likely to leave early for NFL:
Etienne / Feaster / Overton / Higgins / Pollard / Anchrum / Reeves / Giella / Simpson / Cervenka
Simmons / Terrell / Muse / Johnson / Wallace (Total=15)

With very good seasons, the following could also elect to leave early:
Pinckney / Kelly / J. Williams / Shaq Smith (Total=4)

The following will have their degrees and not likely to be in the rotation going forward, and decide to move on with their lives:
Dawkins / Chalk / Stewart / Spiers (Total=4)

Our current roster scholarship count is 83, freeing up 2 more spots.

That's 25 possibles. Likely that at least a couple of those will not materialize, but also possible that a couple of transfers will occur that we can't predict as to who just yet.

I believe we are looking at a class size of 23-25, with an ungodly number of 5*s in the mix.

I have heard 20-22 lots of times.

I wouldn't look for Spiers or Stewart to go anywhere.

I can't imagine the coaches would pull a scholarship from a RS Senior o-lineman when we are losing 4 starters and the young guys will not have had a chance to prove themselves yet.

I don't expect Stewart to be in the 2-deep above basically anyone else on the roster.

A lot would depend on how the young guys progress.

I believe he is currently on the 2 deep and we are losing 4 starters.

There is a lot to be said for a linemen knowing the scheme and being comfortable with playing multiple positions.

Pinckney, Kelly, Williams or Shaq leave early.

If any of them maybe Shaq but he would have to blow up this season with crazy stats.

your numbers are weird: there are 14 scholarships that will be exhausted. then if you add in those who could leave early (ETN, Higgins, Simmons, Terrell) that will give us 18

I think Dawkins will leave early that will get us to 19. The coaches are focused on 20-22 so maybe 2-3 leave early or transfer.
