Let's talk about CU's special teams for a minute

Jan 5, 2016, 9:31 AM

Now I'm no coach, and as close to special teams as I've ever been was in hs football as a return guy. One thing I think I can speak as an expert on is if ain't nobody blockin' ain't nobody runnin'. It's not rocket science. When I watch our return game, players seem confused about blocking assignments. Why? You'd think after this many years of mediocrity in the return game we could get it. ####, even the blind squirrel finds the nut ever once in a while. What is the problem?

In all fairness I remember a short time ago when it's all we had, Spiller could run it all the way home and was a real threat, but our defense couldn't stop the opponents cheerleaders and our offense would choke at the first sign of adversity. I will take this team anyday!

Yes, Spiller and Justin Miller before him were awesome.***
