I hope Ealy comes and plays both because he would likely be the best outfielder on campus when he shows up.

I disagree on Dukes. Our basketball team isn't great, but they are not so bad that a low level 6 foot tall recruit can split time with another sport and make an impact.

Dukes is at Clemson to play football. If he tries basketball I expect him to be similar to Nuk trying to play basketball.

The difference is that he isn't the talent in football that Nuk was. Also our program is now on a different level. Spending a year trying to play basketball may get him left behind with the talent that is now on our football team.

Also the overlap in seasons means he misses out on a ton of time trying to develop in basketball as well.

Ealy should do both. I hope Dukes sticks to one.

i'd tell him to focus on baseball first and play football

when he can. No dire need to have him on the football field but this baseball team needs a spark.

If he shows up in August he will focus on football first.

Dabo isn't passing out scholarships to let guys go focus on another sport in season.

I have heard him discuss his options in interviews.

He has said he could enroll and play both in college. This would be great for Clemson if he chooses us.

He has also said he could work into his contract to play football in college and sign his contract in baseball. He has said he would either put baseball on hold or he could play in the off-season from football.

I'm not sure how this would work but he did mention it at some point.

Yeah, this option didn't work out to well for Roscoe.

I completely agree.

Roscoe didn't have the strongest support around him to help him make decisions from what I've heard.

Roscoe also got hurt and got scared he would lose his ticket to making money in baseball.

Unfortunately for Roscoe, I think football would have gotten him a longer pro career. It's easy to say that now though.
