Legitimate comparison

Mackenzie Alexander plays with swagger and is a really good player. He talks his game and backs it up. I have seen him grow as a player and get more confidence. Unfortunately I have also seen him go overboard going out of his way to trash talk opposing sidelines even getting into it with a coach.

Please help me understand why DJ Swag was a thug and why MA is not?

I didn't like either of their antics but sure like the results of both

Mack plays defense ...their deal is to get aggressive and stay aggressive before , during and even after the game .
I think that's the perception . Plus , MA hasn't threatened to shoot up an entire bar with an Uzi . That's another story .

Mack is a student of the game. He is a very respectable young man off the field and uses his trash talk to gain an advantage on the field. DJ's actions on the field are a product of his attitude and way of life.

I tend to look past your fake off field behavior when I see you jawing and using profanities with an opposing coach. Was surprised Dabo didn't do anything about that.

However, I have seen some rap videos that show DJ Swag in some questionable situations.

I guess the bottom line is just like clowney, if they are on your team you like them. Not on your team you hate them. Remember clowney with a Clemson shirt on sitting with dabo at the basketball game?

Would be completely different had he worn the orange. Many would say he wouldn't have been a bust in the nfl. Others may say look at number 1 recruit who did go to Clemson, he wasn't much in nfl
