I checked the SCDOT cameras late last night, and it seemed that MB did not lose power like some areas. That was a blessing. I think over 150,000 lost power in SC, and over 750,000 in NC.

The area around MB seems like it was hit pretty hard. Horry electric co-op has roughly 50% of their system down right now. ~33k out.

We got lucky on our side of Conway. Never lost power but a lot of people close to us did.

I’m in Conway with Horry Electric. Lost power yesterday about 7:30am. My office is in North Myrtle Beach. It lost power yesterday mid day. I think the flood will be the major issue from this storm. Wind was rough but hopefully not structural damage to homes.

We have Horry Electric too. About 7 miles out of town on Hwy 905. The Waccamaw is supposed to crest Wednesday at a foot higher than it did with Matthew.

Stay safe down there. It’s not really doing anything but raining around Kingstree so I guess we got lucky. Have you heard or seen how North Ocean Blvd. looks?

It’s good..got a friend with a place on 7th north..Haven’t been back to Cherry Grove tho..As I type this we r under a tornado warning and Ocean Dr. and CG was mentioned. Stay safe...I’m at 7th south next to PO..

I would have been in the front of the line when they said to evacuate. My mother said it rained nonstop for 2 days near Clover and she only lost power for a couple of hours after a tree went across a line behind her house. Very little wind and not much more than a steady light rain on Lake Greenwood.

Yes I did. Johnny said they didn’t get a lot in Clover..it’s showing out right now. Huge thunderstorm..u been to Clover lately?
