It won't happen until the old donors die off or the Playoff Committee says they won't select any independents for the CFP. ND will have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century (or maybe the 1990s).

I agree but that would have kept one of us from being in the final 4. Now if we think Nd is good enough to stay in the top I’d rather play them in the playoffs.

I’d imagine if they were in a conference and actually did make the conference championship game they probably would have lost that game anyway thus not even making it to the playoffs. This year anyway. Yesterday they certainly didn’t look like they belonged in the top 4.

Yesterday did nothing to show they were not top 4. It only showed we curb stomped #4, and would have regardless who was #4.
