Those outrage jetboats are fun. But you can’t beat an ol outboard. Wrap a shoelace around the flywheel and let er rip. The perfect back up emergency plan. Glad you made back to the dock safe!

I had the slightly bigger 15.5" Boston Whaler Rage jet boat when I lived on a big lake in Cape Coral, FL. Lot of fun but it was not so good out in deep water due to it's flat bottom design.

I moved up to a Robalo R2130 cuddy cabin for my trips out in the Gulf.
