Kyle Parker as Color Commentator

I was a big Parker fan when he was at Clemson, loved seeing a guy thrive in 2 of the biggest sports at the school. But after watching Game 3 vs USC all I can say is he needs a little work when it comes to color commentary. I'm sure the dude knows his stuff but it almost seems he was a little shell shocked when it came time for him to talk. I hope he works it out as the season progresses.

What is it with the color commentary hate on this board? Seems like someone post negatively about the commentary for every Tiger game. The refs get more love than the color guys.

Normally it is the play by play announcer getting heat on here. Color commentators escape mostly unscathed. Rodney Williams does ok and no one would ever criticize living legend Tim Bourret.

WELL THERE ARE A LOT OF IDIOTS ON THIS BOARD. GUESS THEY THINK THEY SHOULD GET #### ENBERG OR VIN SCULLY FOR EVERY BROADCAST. THESE ARE LOCAL GUYS FOR THE MOST PART CLEMSON PEOPLE DOING THE GAMES. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS. WE HAVE BEEN PRETTY LUCKY WITH OUR GUYS. HAVE YOU HEARD SOME OF THE ANNOUNCERS AT OTHERS SCHOOLS.

Totally disagree with your assessment. I think he does a great job and he brings an insight to the game that we personally have never gotten!

and throwing a “should” have been winning TD to our freshman WR in end zone in last minute..but he threw it way too hard for the freshman to bring in.
Next week he tried to play vs Miami at DV wrapped in a rib cage protector and it was painful to watch..that & the close loss.
