I know we were recruiting this kid and I really wanted him to do well after his mother walked out on him during signing day when he chose in state UF. But it seems that Dabo had his concerns and pulled his offer for a good reason, seems the troubled past that became a hot topic on national signing day might just be the truth..

Jacob Copeland was the kid who had his mom walk out on him. Watkins is the kid who got busted for marijuana possession while on a visit to Ohio State

Well for whomever it was, I'm just sad for all of them. It's difficult for at risk kids to escape their circumstances so hate to see any opportunities wasted.

There are MANY at risk kids that do the right thing and make it out so blaming ones upbringing has nothing to do with how one acts, its just an excuse. Knowing right from wrong isn't something you learn from only your parents its a societal thing. Does it make it harder when you have no structure or discipline for your action from parents, absolutely but it by no means gives one the right to be stupid and not be accountable for that stupidity.
