Dawg fans don't understand why he isn't playing, well i can tell you and it's because he isn't Trevor Lawrence. It was a joke that some of the recruiting services even put him near Lawrence based on playing football in shorts and a t-shirt. If Fields was even close to Lawrence you can bet he'd be playing a lot more than he is. Sorry Dawg fans just facts.

The only reason that ESPN ranked Fields over Trevor is because Trevor didn't commit to one of their precious SEC schools. If he had, they would have kept Trevor ranked as the number one player in the country. Every other service did. These are the same morons who voted Jackson over Deshaun for the Heisman.

Been saying this since last year, crazy how much the ESPN sells the SEC brand. Evident in recruit rankings, team polls, etc. etc.

I think it was more so Trevor had committed to Clemson, he wasn’t going to waver on his commitment, and Fields wasn’t committed.

Justin Fields looked darn good in the Elite 11 competition. I wouldn't be so quick to right him off. I suspect he will be a good QB.
