Just wanted to share some things I learned about TNET

Mar 17, 2020, 12:16 PM

for years i was a reader, never a poster. Years. So I had no TU or TD. SO when I started logging in and posting my displeasure with CBB I got TDed and my pulse went way down off of a some TD's. Thanks to some helpful TNetters I was able to figure out how all of that worked...I think. So I started giving TU's and gradually my pulse has creeped up.

But on to maybe some helpful hints I have learned:

I was always viewing via my ipad. That platform provides the least information about yourself and others as posters, as well as a post itself.

Iphone is actually better. You can see a few more ID things and it retains your login.

Laptop is the best platform to view, learn about a fellow TNetter, hover, read old posts and so on.

A couple of years ago I felt guilty for always taking form the board and never giving. SO I contacted admin about how to send them so $$$. Did that.

Well recently I found that you can become a paying member. Wish I had know that 15 years ago, I would have done it then and not have felt guilty about only consuming free info.

Hope this helps any new to the game or those who might have been living in the dark like I was.

I really don't understand how someone can use T-Net without donating bc there is no options for deleting or editing a posted, post!!!

and got off of triple-six posts, but if we can get you to
30 TUs on this post, it makes the HOF and I think that
counts as another post.

IMO I don’t think you should have received TD’s . Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It’s unfortunate that some I think decide they don’t like you or your opinions so they TD everything you post. When I joined Tigernet in 2006, no matter you position on a topic people were not as mean spirited as they seemed to be in 2020.

Please keep on posting we need different ideas and opinions to make sure posters can have great discussions about Athletics, politics, etc...

Thank you for the information about Tigernet. IMO the best place to stay updated about CLEMSON. Plus there are so many really good people who are members of Tigernet.

Keep sharing your ideas and opinions on Tigernet and I believe your pulse will go up.

PS: watch out for MyfavOrange. That person is crazy! Lol ?? Actually MyfavOrange is one of the best people on Tigernet along with most everyone else you will find Tigernet is part of the larger Clemson Family. Occasionally you will find that a coot or a troll from another school has made his way to Tigernet. But it’s hard to keep those looney’s out. Lol

Have a great day my Tigernet friend.

I don't know how true but, I've heard that you have to be a donor to TD a post?!!!

"IDIOT POSTER OF THE MONTH SO FAR...GWP-- You have won IPM Award for your failure to completely comprehend a clear post & then choose to attack someone who points out your ignorance. While you are not yet in the same No Class Catagory as deRoberts, ClemTiger117 & Tigerdug23, you are getting closer to the Sewer Dwellers." - coachmac

Is that a lot? I've only ever intentionally TD'd Crump...

Mar 17, 2020, 3:35 PM

and franc1968®, you know, just to check Crump's maffs.

Tru story.

It's not a lot per se

Mar 17, 2020, 4:15 PM

but it's a lot when you're on here complaining about other people who give TDs.

I see, and forgive me as I've been on sabbatical, but...

Mar 17, 2020, 4:35 PM

you've only TD'd @ 2% of votes cast, while wueagle86® has done so @ 17%.

If you get lapped, I probably can't hang out with you anymore.

DSP,

If I gave a TD it was more for language not substance. I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are kids who have Tigernet accounts. Plus I would like to think the Tigernet and it’s members are a cut above the rest of college football. And are you sure 17% is accurate? I thought it might be higher. Lol??

Hope you and you family as well as other people around the world stay safe and healthy. I hope no one loses a loved one.

Have a great day.

From what I see it is 9% of 279. What/where are you seeing that?

that was in response to wueagle86, not you, since he posted:

"IMO I don’t think you should have received TD’s . Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It’s unfortunate that some I think decide they don’t like you or your opinions so they TD everything you post."

and yet, ironically, has cast 17% of 9625 votes as TDs.

My TD rate is double that, but I proudly TD coot posts every chance I get.

Re: You've given over 1,600 TDs.***

Mar 18, 2020, 2:48 PM

This post was in response to one Tigernet member who was getting TD’s. This member appeared to be singled out and purposely given TD’s because of his sceen name and possibly someone knew his name. It did not appear to have anything to do with his post. If it was because of his opinions then in my opinion it was wrong to give this member TD’s.

That is what that post was about. I am human just like everyone else. So I am not telling anyone they can’t give TD’s or the reason they give them. I fact I have given TD’s based on subject matter which I think was wrong for me to do. I was just giving my opinion in the post tiger_swimmer posted in regards to giving TD’s.

I respect everyone one Tigernet and their opinions even though I don’t always agree with them. But isn’t this the reason we post on Tigernet?? To share our thoughts and get a response from other members.

Have a great day everyone and I pray you all stay safe and healthy.
