we don't seem to try to block punts, and seem to be happy to just let AHump catch them, with little positive yardage... it seems to me that we would try to put pressure on the punter OR set up returns

Do not come close to the kicker, unless you want them to keep the ball. We get flagged every time! Be prepared for the fake. We have no blocking period on kickoffs or punts.

2014 season. At one time, I thought we had recruited some burners but I guess they all lost ignition.
If it weren't for our front seven, we'd be in a world of hurt.

Return man's speed is not the issue ...

... 9 times out of 10, when the ball gets to Adam, the opposing coverage is right in his face and has him surrounded.

As he showed against Louisville, his speed is adequate and he is a decent enough return man if he has any room to maneuver after the catch.

It's our entire return team in general that is the question.
