Just a reminder about ole FSU

Was rewatching last year's game at Tallahassee. FSU played us pretty tough early. The score was 0-0 after QRT 1. We scored a couple of minutes into the 2nd. Then again at the 7:45 mark. Added a 3rd TD with about 4 min (after an INT by Lamar - a "2 yard & goal" blast by Wilkins). Then we got the ball back after a punt, marched down the field & scored a 4th TD with a minute left in the half - - 28 points in about 12-13 minutes.

But for a quarter, they played us tough.

And UNCheat played us tough for more than 3 quarters. Is this a trend we're witnessing? Even Bama played us tough for most of the first half, before they got tired.

So last year we averaged 7.9 points in the first quarter.

This year we are averaging 9 points in the first quarter.

Our point production is down, but we have also sandbagged in a bunch of games to date.
