Just a quick football rules question

If there are two PF on a play one in bounds (like a facemask) and then a late hit out of bounds. The team can chose to accept either one correct

I think a late hit is dead ball of, if that is true both can be accepted, but I'm not 100% sure.

Cause that was the case in my HS's Champ game last night

There was a facemask called on our RB then a late hit out of bounds

High school refs are a crap shoot, some are great and some well...they need some training.

Both are enforced. 30 yards or half distances to goal, depending on field position
