Do they still do games? I was watching a highlight video and they showed some old games of ours on there, it was kinda nostalgic as I used to watch Clemson games on there when i was a kid. Hasn't been too long because some of the highlights still have Spiller.

I can't say I miss those. Watching a 9-7 barn burner against WF with a backdrop of a DV so quiet it sounded like a nature conservatory. All the commercials would be Dukes Mayo and Carolina Pride bologna, and cameras with resolution reminiscent of a Harry Carey-led WGN Cubs broadcast. Looked like wax paper was covering my tv screen.. no thanks lol

And the announcer was Guy Philpott, the analyst Duke Hodges, former nose tackle of Georgia State A&T.

Agreed they were terrible look for us, just remember we played on their a lot in the 90's when I was growing up. I do remember one of the announcers trying to hype up will proctor and said "Will Proctor, the Proctologist." Still to this day find that amusing!

Jefferson-Pilot was sold to Lincoln National around 2005, so they no longer sponsor sports. Theywere a very good insurance company in their day and worked hard to sponsor ACC athletics with their own network.
