He's only a freshman, and I definitely like his physical skill set, but has anybody ever seen a DB have a worse game than that?

I suspect his part of the game plan was adding outside pressure to Miller. He gets caught up, for sure.

both safeties had big turnovers in the game and came up in support vs the run game.
big stage, some breakdowns, but the kid balled out.

he had to step up because of injuries elsewhere. I don't blame the player.

His good plays made up for his mistakes….

Jayron Kearse will probably end up being one of our best safeties ever. Guy is a ball hawk in pass coverage. He had a few mistakes, but like I said his good plays made up for the mental mistakes he made. For a true freshman he has played good this season and in the Orange Bowl.

He literally chased 3 players into our own end zone. Promise you he knows Hopkins numbers, he was running after it most of the day
And let's see, Duke, in Durham last year, Nuke could have run to Chapel Hill8 miles away before their secondary figured it out.

Hardly. He was out of position on all of OSU's big passing plays which accounted for 14 points. He was even out of position on that his interception. Look at the film and he's supposed to be covering The slot running a post through the middle. Only excuse here is that he is a true freshman

Jayron just needs to keep his "head" in the game. This "ain't" high school no mo!
He is a tremendous talent, and he will learn! Hope we can keep him four years, but I doubt it.
